BETHEL HISTORICAL SOCIETY QUILT DISPLAY

QUILT DISPLAY AT BETHEL HISTORICAL-The Bethel Historical Society has opened a new exhibit at the Dr. Moses Mason House entitled “Stitched Together in Time and Place: Valentine Family Quilts.” Here, volunteer Edleen Winslow does some work of her own while tending the display during Saturday’s Bethel Art Fair. Held in conjunction with the recent dedication of the Mary E. Valentine Collections Wing, the colorful display features more than a dozen quilts that were once owned or made by members of the Valentine family of Bethel. The exhibition, which runs through Aug. 30, artedleenwill be on view Thursday through Saturday, from 1 to 4 p.m. FMI: 824-2908.
